Kristine Potter

Kris Potter joined Apple Vacations in January 2005 as Vice President of Marketing and ECommerce, where she led both strategic and tactical marketing, as well as corporate communication initiatives.

As a result of recent company acquisitions, the breadth of Kris’ leadership has expanded – now focusing on ecommerce product, digital and creative strategies for all of ALG’s leading vacation brands: Apple Vacations, American Express Vacations and Travel Impressions. In her new role, Kris is responsible for:

• Providing vision; inspiring innovative and collaborative thinking; motivating and leading a 50+ team responsible for UI experience, customer acquisition and brand development. 

• Strategic design, development and delivery of user friendly, intuitive & highly relevant experiences across all B2C and B2B channels, including web design & development, UX, A/B & multivariate testing, project scoping and web analytics.

• Heavy utilization of data intelligence to improve online and offline conversions; deliver relevancy to customers based on profile, past purchases and website behavior; and optimize ROI. 

• Leading cross-channel innovation, online & email marketing, SEM, customer loyalty, merchandising & content curation.

• Inspire brand confidence via the delivery of a consistent visual voice across all customer touch points.  The in-house creative team serves as full-service agency responsible for the delivery on fully integrated media campaigns, including broadcast, print, and digital components.

 

Kris began her marketing career 25 years ago at Liz Claiborne, Inc. in New York City, and has held Senior Management/General Manager positions with another major tour operator prior to joining Apple Vacations.
