Born in Ukraine and raised in Brooklyn, Sara Shikhman quit the financially lucrative world of corporate law in order to start an e-commerce furniture business. She earned her degree in law from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and also studied at Wharton School of Business. Her combination of top level law and business skills allowed her to start her business with only $20k and no knowledge of furniture or e-commerce. In two years she grew the furniture business to over $10,000,000 in revenue due to the unconventional digital marketing strategies she employed. Her ability to create successful strategies, execute them effectively, and create dynamic teams also allowed her to become very successful as an e-commerce consultant.

Following the success of her furniture startup, Sara founded Rent A Gent, www.rentagent.me, a company that’s revolutionizing entertainment for women around the world, and is the basis of a new reality show currently in production.

Sara is a speaker at e-commerce events around the world and a consultant to several companies across a wide range of industries. She lives in New York City, loves life and transforming ideas into great successes with beautiful execution.
